“Today is sacred - for it will never come again. What could be more important than living this day with attention and the intention to be of benefit, to the best of your ability, to all you encounter?” ― John Bruna
We wake up, we get ready for the day. We may exercise or meditate or both. And then we are off and running. How easy it is to get so involved in the things that we have to do—both small and large, important and unimportant—that we forget that our true purpose is to pay attention to all that Spirit is doing in our lives at every moment and to bring the intention to the day that we will bring goodness and Sacred Light to all whom we encounter? Unfortunately, this is not as easy as it sounds. Day after day we must remember our true nature, our call to be the Sacred to all the world. It requires a daily intention lest the activity of the day deprive us of this Holy Calling. But, when we do, the we and the world around us are blessed beyond measure. Namaste
Gentle Thoughts: If you have not already done so, can you stop and set your intention to be “of benefit” to all those you encounter through the rest of the day?
