Remember there's no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end.--Scott Adams-----
Perhaps you are pulling through a drive-thru at a fast food restaurant and when you reach the window, the server says, “Oh, the woman ahead of you paid for your order.” Most of us are taken aback because we are not used to people being “nice” in that way. Perhaps in the near future we do the same for someone in a similar situation. And it goes on. There is more than just free food afoot however. As we experience these acts of kindness, more than likely, we will find ourselves being pleasant and kind, or feeling lighter. We smile more and, hopefully, that encourages those with whom we share our smiles to share theirs with others. Perhaps one of those smiles makes all the difference in the world to someone even if we don’t know them. More than one person at the end of their metaphorical or actual “rope” have remarked, “I don’t know what I would have done if that person had not smiled at me. I didn’t even know them and they took the time to smile at me. It made all the difference in my day and in my world.” Be that smile and pass it on. Namaste
