Our Own Mortality

January 9, 2018

We recognize our own mortality, and we are reminded that in the fleeting time we have on this Earth, what matters is not wealth, or status, or power, or fame – but rather, how well we have loved, and what small part we have played in making the lives of other people better. --Barack Obama

In the context of the history of time, we are but a blip on the radar of Universal existence.  But we are a very important blip.  If Love placed us here; Love has a job for us to do—to spread the understanding of Love throughout the world.  It may be that we speak to great crowds, write books, or pick up groceries for an ill neighbor or all of that.  What is most important is that we find ways daily to make other’s lives better by being an expression of that Love that can spread understanding and enlightenment throughout the world.  This understanding and enlightenment serves one purpose: to encourage others to share the same Love very same principle of Love.  Love is a circle; we play our part and it continues to spin and spin throughout eternity.  There is no end to Love only a lack of understanding of the purpose of our lives.  May we work together to be a small, but irreplaceable portion of the circle of Love.  Namaste

Gentle Thoughts:  How will you express Love in small or large ways today?
