There is guidance for each of us, and by lowly listening we shall hear the right word.--Ralph Waldo Emerson
It seems as though I am growing older every day. And, yet there is so much left for me to learn. I've found that as we grow older we also learn how important others are in our lives. We sometimes feel as though we wander alone, left to our own thoughts, lost in strategy and planning--perhaps realistic--perhaps completely not--at the very least believing that we must find our own way, looking for answers only inside, often ignoring those who watch us flail about with love and, sometimes, concern. But wisdom calls us to appreciate those who truly walk beside us as uniquely special to us and to others in their lives. What mystical understanding would come to us if we become more aware of seeing and hearing the divine in those with whom we interact on a daily basis. More than mere friends, they speak the voice of Spirit, and show the way when we listen for the deeper meaning in their words. Spirit "blows where it will". We will gain much when we stay alert to the speaking of sacred words in every person. Not only do we experience a sharing of Spirit; we come to understand that, indeed, we are all One, embraced in love and unlimited possibilities. Namaste.
