"The journey is part of the experience - an expression of the seriousness of one's intent. One doesn't take the A train to Mecca." - Anthony Bourdain
The A Train, of course, is a New York City thing; and an Ella Fitzgerald thing. But, indeed, it doesn’t run to Mecca. Journeying is, as we’ve said many times, is just as important as arriving. The people we meet along the way, the impact they have on our souls and we on theirs. We leave people, important people, behind sometimes when we travel to some place they do not want to go and that is the way it should be. Everyone has a choice to make—whether to hop on the A train and hope we end up in Mecca or embark on journey after journey to open ourselves up to what Spirit has in store for us within the journey. We find new worlds, new connections, new spiritual awakenings (which grow deeper over time); and, most importantly, we find ourselves. Namaste
