"If you cry because the sun has gone out of your life, your tears will prevent you from seeing the stars." - Rabindranath Tagore
Of course we cry when we are challenged by changes we did not see coming, or losses that tear at the fabric of our hearts. And, indeed, there are times when we cannot see the sun at all. In those times, however, if we can dry our tears, we find that there is another even more beautiful way to grasp the light that the Universe is sending to us moment by moment. Think of it—an open field away from the distracting lights of city streets and skyscrapers—you stand in the midst of a host of twinkling stars calling us up, up, and out of our longing for things to be different. In the moment that we see, truly see, all the stars—suns just like our own, we began to know how vast the storehouse of Love and Power really is. And, as we lift our eyes, now dry of tears or at least partially so, we tap into the Energy of the Universe and All.There.Is. May it be so. Namaste
Gentle Thoughts: Can you look for the stars tonight and night after night after night? We are made for just that.
