"Nobody can teach you love. Love you have to find yourself, within your being, by raising your consciousness to higher levels." ~ Rajneesh
We can teach children to be kind, we can teach children to be tolerant, and we can teach children to treat each other and adults with respect. What we cannot teach children, or adults for that matter, is to love. We can love each other; we can model love; but we cannot teach it. Love comes from a place so deep inside us that we struggle to find words to describe it. And, even then, those are just words. As we go deeper into our being, thereby raising our level of consciousness, Love appears and will continue to appear in greater and greater abundance as long as we are growing in our understanding of our truest selves. We throw the word “love” around as if it were easy to love. It is easy to want to love, but Love, like Truth and Beauty, can only be understood with greater and greater clarity through greater and greater consciousness. May it be so for you and for all of us. Namaste
Gentle Thoughts: What are we to do with ourselves and Love?
