"Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience." ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
Patience is not gained simply by waiting; it is gained by growing more glorious as we are waiting. A small tree continues to become a large tree at the exact speed with which trees grow. It does not say “I will not be a tree until I can be the largest in the forest”. Flowers wait beneath the late winter snows and develop the exact strength and fortitude that it will require to burst through in a surprise announcement of Spring. While we are waiting for our lives to come into alignment, we must do the same. We do not sit idly by mumbling the mantra “someday, someday, someday”; we prepare ourselves for what comes next by becoming more and more an expression of the Divine so that when we are called we are already ready. This is the true meaning of patience. And may it be so. Namaste
