At one point, we were all fearful. But as you get older, it's the things you don't do that you regret, more so than the things you do. When fear knocks, answer.--Robin Roberts
If we become captives of our regrets we are paralyzed, unable to move ahead. This is a frightening prospect. As we age, we realize that the saddest thoughts in our hearts surround those things which we failed to do out of fear, lack of belief in our own abilities or because someone else told us we couldn’t possibly do it. We find our contentment in the knowledge that at the times when we stepped forward in courage, whether we succeed or not. There comes a time when simply facing our fear and moving into change or challenge becomes far more significant in our lives than whether or not we gained fame, respect or even completion. Our lack of regret grows from our willingness to try, and try, and try again, regardless of our shaking in our proverbial “boots”. Namaste
