Love one another and help others to rise to the higher levels, simply by pouring out love. Love is infectious and the greatest healing energy.-- Sai Baba
Healers have always experienced a certain amount of prestige and mystery. True Healers understand that they have no more healing ability than anyone else although they may have spent considerable time learning the best and most authentic ways to utilize this power that, in reality, resides within us all. Embracing and celebrating one’s healing power is not easy. It take a certain commitment to personal vulnerability and to enduring the possibility of criticism, misunderstanding, and doubt. What makes true Healers so precious in our societies is that they call us to tap into our own healing power both for ourselves and for the ones we love and interact with. They know that they are not special nor do they believe that they have miraculous powers that cannot be manifested by all those who engage in the gift of passing on that universal power to every sentient being both in compassion and boldness. We are healers. We can allow universal love to use us to heal the world. Namaste
Gentle Thoughts: Do you think of yourself as a healer? Are you willing to?
