Within us is the soul of the whole, the wise silence, the universal beauty, the eternal One.-Ralph Waldo Emerson
We forget, do we not, that all that is sacred, beautiful, and eternal already resides in us. All our attempts at spiritual maturity are actually aimed at discovering, claiming, and embracing that with which we are already identified. Our struggle comes from being able to think ourselves worthy of such a truth. Surely there must be more to it than this. We have learned along the way to seek outside for not only our teachers but for what we seek itself. We can stop, glimpse the divine, listen for all that comes to us when we grown silent and know that we have that which we need. Then, and only then, can teachers and prophets lead us to greater knowledge and wisdom. May we recognize that the Eternal Truth is that we already are sacred and holy. We need only to say “Thank You”. Namaste
Gentle Thoughts: Can you wrap your arms around knowing that universal beauty of the Eternal One lies within?
